Prince Charles sent a letter to Professor Alexander Christian Vibrans congratulating the IFFSC team for all the efforts put on the project. In the text, the Prince acknowledged the success of the forest inventory and its outcomes.

The Prince also highlighted the quality of the IFFSC's books and the importance of the results reported in them. He declared that he is interested in matters related to the conservation of Brazilian forests. His wish is that the Brazilian people may find harmony between them and nature, and also that the people may play a decisive role in action plans aimed to use and conserve natural resources in favor of the future generations.
